The Kentucky Bar Foundation (KBF) recently conducted a visit to Eastern Kentucky, expressing gratitude to its numerous donors and gaining insights into the pressing needs of the region. During the trip, KBF Executive Director, Susan Duncan, visited AppalReD and community leaders to better understand the challenges facing Eastern Kentucky residents. The visit revealed that family law issues and housing concerns are at the forefront of legal needs in the area. These findings will help inform the KBF's future efforts and resource allocation to address these critical issues effectively.
The Kentucky Bar Foundation's mission is to further the public's understanding of the judicial system and the legal profession through programs and philanthropic partnerships that help those in need. This recent trip exemplifies the Foundation's commitment to this mission by directly engaging with the communities it serves.
